Just had a few days in Scotland, a last minute break that was wonderful. Got a caravan for 4 days that was such a bargain at Speyside Leisure Park in Aviemore. The main purpose was to try and get ptarmigam, a much sought after bird for Karen's list! We walked up Cairngorm twice until we managed to see Ptarmigan, and even then it was very distant. Other birds were ring ouzel and wheatear. The views were simply stunning. Top of the world !!
