Scaup at Messingham NR
A visit to Messingham Nature Reserve today in the snow. Just one of the four scaup remain which was closer today due to the lake being frozen. Other birds of note were goldcrests and willow tits. These pics actually look monocrome, and yes it really was that grey ! Was pleased to get home and return to the fireside!
