The Flying Scotsman and Locomotion No.1, North Yorkshire Moors Railway

A day trip to Pickering to see Locomotion No. 1 and the Flying Scotsman which were both on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.  When we got there we could see Locomotion was not working and it was all hands on deck to repair it. Half an hour saw it back in action much to the relief of the drivers and all the people who had tickets !

Locomotion No. 1 is a historic steam locomotive built in 1825 by George and Robert Stephenson. This one is a replica that Guy Martin helped to rebuild to celebrate it's 200th anniversary.

What a fantastic day !!

And away she goes !

Even the staff need a pic xx

More coal was needed

A brilliant day, loved it !

And a few videos for you, enjoy !
