Wood Duck with just one chick and the Great Blue Heron's were circling in their dozens to take this one
Wilson's Warbler
White Crowned Sparrow
Swallowtail Butterfly
Spotted Towhee
Red-breasted Sapsucker
Three River Otters. Afraid our binoculars drew quite a crowd and the crowd grew with folk running along the bank with phones raised, the otters were soon gone with all the attention and noise.
Dark-eyed Junco
House Finch
Grey-cheeked Thrush
Fox Sparrow
Double-crested Cormorants
Black-capped Chickadee
Bald Eagles. Our first of many. To be honest, we lost count. They were in every port, in every tree along the banks, on every post. We must have seen at least 300.
Anna's Hummingbird
American Robin
American Crow
Stanley Park really is a birder's paradise and would imagine when there is a fall of birds, it would be spectacular. Would love to visit again one day with more time, who knows?!
