Red-flanked Bluetail, Flamborough

Headed to Flamborough today, Sunday. We should have gone yesterday but thought the crowds would be huge so waited a day. Perhaps a mistake as the crowds were far too large for us today. Lots of photographers that moved up and down the path as one, up and down, up and down. So we left this bird and went to the other side of the dell to try and see the Taiga Flycatcher, elusive was an understatement! After a couple of hours I had lost the will to live so we headed back round the other side and soon had fleeting glimpses of the flycatcher, and I mean fleeting, so afraid no pics. But see it we did and today we took our 2021 list to 227. Well pleased with these pics of the bluetail. What a beautiful bird.
