A very distant Red-backed Shrike. One of two that were in that area today.
The garden at Cliff Farm was alive with birds so we decided to stand a while and see what showed. Just us two so pied and spotted flycatchers soon emerged, flitting about along with a redstart. Our birding was soon ended when a crowd, with no social distancing whatsoever, stood behind us with 'what ya got?' and flushed every bird. Not impressed was an understatement !!
