A few bits from this week
A Blackcap singing it's heart out in the sun
Another songster - Tree Pipit
We had our very first Peregrine over the garden this week
Yellow Wagtail
A pair of herons are new additions at one of our local sites, hope they stay !
One of our local pairs of Little Owls at dusk
And no blog post is complete without a pic of veg from our garden. We now have a full shelf in the freezer of sugar snap peas, a tray of new potatoes already in storage and fresh fruit, salad and veg to eat every single day. The tomatoes, chillies and beans are all in flower, the pea pods are filling, onions growing and it all looks fabulous x

Peregrines, Lincolnshire
Sibling love xx
This chick with an orange band on ts leg and most of it's lunch smeared through its tail !
There must have been a right old pantry of blood dripping goodies on the ledge behind. The chicks never stopped snacking all afternoon.
We timed our visit perfect this year with the chicks teetering and flapping high up on the masonry. Three chicks this year and will all be fledged by now as this visit was two weeks ago. The parents were very mobile, soaring the skies, a fantastic sight to see. Food was brought in twice, plucked from a height and put onto the ledge behind the chicks who regularly called for more !
