Peregrine Falcons, Lincoln Cathedral

A last minute decisions to go to Lincoln this evening to see how the peregrines were doing. We saw one adult bird perched on a gargoyle, one flying around,  and one juvenile that constantly screamed for food. We could only see and hear one chick. It had masses of wing flapping practice before dropping off and coming up on the other side. Glad we went tonight as looks like the chick is very well developed and will leave this nest site within a week or two. Such fantastic birds to watch and teamed with the stunning architecture, you cant go far wrong.
