Black-necked Grebe
Great Northern Diver. It fed constantly all the time we were there, eating crab after crab
Shag
A lovely, but very cold, day at Scarborough. The Great Northern Diver showed constantly in the harbour, feeding constantly, but no sign today of the Red-throated diver that had been there the previous day. No sign of any waxwings today, but the trees they had been feeding on yesterday, were stripped bare !
A good day, chilled to the bone, but the tray of chips with lashings of vinegar warmed us up !
