and a lovely male red-backed shrike
We hadn't been to Spurn for ages so when birds started coming on the pager, we decided it was time for a visit. As soon as we gor to the Hope and Anchor carpark we were greeted with good views of red-breasted flycatcher and some good old mates, so a long overdue catch up was needed. Next to canal for a red-backed shrike and a very obliging and vocal cuckoo. We stopped for this hare on the way home, he was lovely but was soon off and running !
