A very blustery day at Spurn with the occasional shower. This spotted flycatcher was holding court in a garden taking on all four redstarts that ventured in there ! A couple of jack snipe were on Canal Scrape, though distant. Just pulled into the drive at home at teatime when a 'mega' came on the pager - a Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler at Spurn............guess we will be back there at first light tomorrow.
