Tonight....

What an amazing night !  Started off with a very close barn owl, then a couple of tawny owls were calling. A fox barked and then appeared out on the hillside where it sat and watched us watching it. A couple of roe deer strolled by and then, just as we were about to go home, out came the star attraction. We watched a couple of badgers for about 10 minutes until the light had totally gone. It doesn't get much better than this.

Now all we need is for the Thrush Nightingale at Spurn to be singing tomorrow. Fingers crossed ! Then we will be returning to the badgers, hoping they come out earlier.
