We have just come back from a week in Eilat, booked to coincide with spring migration. The hotel, Dan Panorama, was very good, clean and with excellant food. The birding was good, but sometimes a bit slow and steady. The wind blew from the north so hindering migration. But we had a good time, saw some good birds and got a cracking suntan. 8 new species were added to the list. Birds of the trip were blackstart, arabian babblers and tristrams grackles.
