With easterlies forecast we headed over to Spurn. Quite a few ring ouzels (we saw 4), redwings and fieldfares galore, jack snipe, bramblings and yellow-browed warblers. An excellent day.
We have been spending a few late afternoons in the Singleton hide at Blacktoft Sands and having alot of success seeing the hen harrier drifting by. Always distant but still, so good to see. Always a good crowd in there, lots of laughs and putting the world to rights !
