Wood Warbler, Crown and Anchor, Kilnsea

Wood Warbler

Marsh Warbler

We only managed very fleeting glimpses of this wood warbler which remained elusive all day. That is, until the ringers caught it in the nets, then we had fabulous views !

Also caught and rung at Church Field was this marsh warbler.

Pied Flycatchers, Kilnsea

Lots of pied flycatchers today at Spurn.
This one in the Crown and Anchor car park was a stunner.

Little owls at dusk.
We have had a wonderful little owl year with another 2 pairs found last week bringing our tally to 9 pairs all very close to home.

Lancaster Bombers over North Coates, Lincs

Nice to finally see both ours and the Canadian  Lancaster flying together.
Pics show Thumper and Vera flying over North Coates on the Lincolnshire coast.
