Simon has grown sunflowers in the garden this year for the first time. Oh my goodness, they are stunning. So many different colours and all covered in insects. So we have big plans for a full bed of them next year.

Osprey, Welbeck Viewpoint, Notts
Two ospreys today at the watchpoint. We were lucky that one flew all the way down to the lake at the feeding station, giving us some excellent views before disappearing down over the bottom lake. A brilliant day out.
A hobby fed on dragonflies on the lake infront of us, but the speed it flew was on another level !

Tour of Britain, Nottinghamshire Stage, 2022
Got ourselves a good corner.......we're waiting !!
The breakaway.....the stage was won by Jordi Meeus of Bora-Hansgrohe. The overall winner was Gonzalo Serrano of Movistar with Tom Pidcock finishing 3 seconds behind in second place.
