Cobra Warrior, RAF Waddington, September 2022

 

Cobra Warrier at RAF Waddington. This year the visitors were German and Italian. This morning it was the turn of the German Airforce who went out in Tornadoes and Typhoons. The noise was absolutely ear splitting, loved it !

Redstarts and Whinchats

 

It was a 2 redstart, 5 whinchat walk this morning and it was fantastic !  We walk here every week so it felt good to find some quality migrants coming through. A brilliant morning xx

Remained faithful to this one hawthorn bush with a couple of pied flycatchers and a willow warbler ............just to confuse!

The first paddock at Sammys was definately the place to be yesterday. Wood Warbler and a few Pied Flycatchers, Wheatears and a Whinchat.
