Our local Barn Owls have now moved from their derelict detached country cottage (due to demolition!), so a nice new box not too far away. They are alot easier to see now as they have no roof to hide in anymore. Will keep you posted on their breeding success, fingers crossed.

 A good showing of these this year at the Blue Lagoon Nature Reserve, Scunthorpe

Two of these orchids were found by Shaun Kavanagh  on a grass panel on the Westcliff Estate. When we went to photograph them the locals came out to see what we were doing and they couldn't have been more uninterested. Well spotted Shaun !

Spectacled Warbler

A trip to Norfolk tonight to see the lovely male Spectacled Warbler. As soon as we got there we heard it singing and we soon located it. He was extremely mobile ! These few shots were digiscoped. A turtle  dove flew past us, our first of the year.
