We see Goosanders on all our local river and drain walks recently

Our hedgerows are stuffed with fieldfares and redwings. Stripping the berries and moving on. 

A spectacle to see.

Two Roe Deer ran up the hill, stopping to watch us watching them !

This buzzard was keeping his eyes peeled 

We have a pair of resident kingfishers on our walk that we see most days. Good views today of this one diving and then gave us these excellent views when it perched on the bridge. With dog walkers approaching from both sides we knew it would fly and was soon flushed by a pair of walkers, blind and oblivious to the nature and beauty around them.
