With blue sky (but a bitterly cold wind that cut you in two), we watched the Reds practicing overhead. Our local fieldfares gave us a good showing today as they dug for their lunch enjoying the rays of sun. An excellent morning.

Self found Hooded Crow and Ravens in North Lincs !
Simon found this hooded crow just before Christmas and despite regular walks in this area, it wasn't re-found until Friday. Never close and certainly never settled, this is the closest we could get. Far better to find your own birds than stand with the crowds at waxwings !
And in the same area, a pair of ravens drifted over us yesterday. We see one regularly here but now there are two !
