A new UK Carp record for Tom - 45lb 2oz Mirror
A late autumn trip to France where Tom was in the high 30 pounders followed by a week in Cambridge at a carp fishery. It certainly proved an excellent holiday for our Tom when his buzzers sprung into life in the middle of the night and he hauled in this 45lb 2oz mirror carp. A new UK carp record for Tom and well caught.

Our local Red Kites
Tucked away in a secret valley near to home, these red kites are here to stay with their numbers increasing each year. We saw at least 8 yesterday along with 15 buzzard and a single raven. Brilliant !
