Snow Buntings
Arrived at Cleethorpes this lunchtime to find the beach under police guard whilst an unexploded bomb was detonated! Approx 110 snow buntings still around. Amazing how well they blend into the shingle and rubbish.
Ring-necked Parakeets
New UK bird for Karen today taking her UK total to 312. A breeding pair of ring-necked parakeets, made extra special as they were in Lincolnshire!

Peregrine Falcons
One of the best birds in the world on the best building, Lincoln Cathedral. A fabulous day with birds, architecture and history in one.
Lincoln Cathedral
The Bishop's Eye window
The door shown above is known as the 'Judgement Portal'. The door on the left leading to hell and the door on the right to heaven. Angels and demons can be seen around the door. During the reign of Oliver Cromwell the heads of all the angels were removed.
We feel so proud to live near such a stunning building. Gothic architecture built in 1092 and was once the tallest building in the world. Home of the Magna Carta and a breeding pair of peregrine falcons.
