They have 2 chicks that always remained distant and very active !
Will have to return when there are less people and dogs about.

Peregrine on Lincoln Cathedral
All was very quite at the peregrines this evening, with only this single bird visible. Just look at it's crop, stuffed to the gills ! We were talking to one of the Vergers at the Cathedral who told us there were 3 chicks, one healthy, one sickly and one that fell out the nest last weekend and had to be placed back in the nest. Apparently 5am is the most active and noisy time to visit !

Kestrels
Just had a quick stroll out tonight, inbetween football games, and came across these three young kestrels. We heard them long before we saw them. They are very close to one of our little owl pairs, so hopefully will be seeing them again.

Little Owl extravaganza !
We have been out for 2 evenings looking for owls and have found a staggering 5 pairs of little owls, well impressed with that count. Also, at least 4 pairs of barn owls and 2 pairs of tawny owls. On our evening searches we have heard 2 churring nightjars in an area we had never heard them before.
