At least 50 Marsh Fritillaries this afternoon at Chambers. The weather was not favourable so they were quite stationary and certainly plentiful.

A bit of a shock to see the meadow uncut from last year but it really looks like they have tried and it was obviously far too wet. Masses of willow and oak that will be a heck of a job to remove this back end.
