A drive out to the Cape Gannet colony at Lambert's Bay proved quite disappointing as the tide was fully in with a swell and the waves were coming over the walkway. Sanparks had closed the walkway for the day so we couldn't get to the bird hide, quite a disappointment. We ate lunch and the tide had gone out and the waves diminished but the walkway remained closed for the day.....jobsworth springs to mind ! So, viewing from a distance it was. It was only day three of our trip and we were treated to our first Hake and Chips......that I then had every day ! About £4 and the fish that fresh and white.....simply delicious xx

Happy as a pig in swill with a plate of the freshest fish infront of me. Simon had the Hake Calamari Combo, flipping delicious ! The chippie was called Isabella's, right in the harbour.
