A few from the garden

Some stunning daffs this year, double doubles with frills ! They are gorgeous x

A few primula denticulata, look stunning in full flower

Bought 'big bulbs' in the garden centre January sales. They look sensational, will look out for more in next years reductions

Snakes Head Fritillary are just flowering, very dainty but a beautiful, unusual flower

Some more garden centre sales bulbs. We always go the day after Boxing Day when all their bulbs are reduced to £1. Got some crackers this year, some should have been £10 a bag and now £1,so I filled a large basket. Infact I went round twice having realised I had missed some cracking bargains. The ques are horrendous but we saved a good £100 on flash bulbs.

A white snakes head fritillary

The frame for this years runner beans is now up and waiting. The beans are growing in the propagator as I type

Some lovely colour in this border. The wood is the frame for this years sweetcorn.....again in the propagator and a bugger to grow !

Simon has never grown shallots before so it's a trial and error start. All the gaps have now been filled with more sets. Love a shallot in with cream of spinach or simply in a sarnie x

SPUDS !  All growing nicely. We have buckets and buckets (around 30) of them and a full bed aswell. Can't beat home grown new spuds x

Garden looking good, considering the cold, wet weather we have had. Love this time of year when everything is growing, seeds are being sown and there is generally alot to do in the greenhouse. It's a sign of plenty later on in the year !

Greenhouse packed to the gills with every corner being used
