We had a few hours in Cape Town doing touristy things so decided to visit the aquarium which was highly recommended. We were not disappointed ! Massive tanks, and I mean massive. Spotless clean and plenty to look at. We were in there for hours but the icing on the cake was that they fed the sharks once a week and it was on the day we were there and we struck perfect timing. Two divers got on the tank, backs to the rocks for safety and proceeded to feed them massive hake. They ate the lot. The tank had other fish in, mainly yellow-fin tuna so I suppose mid week if they need a snack, there is one there for the taking !
A couple of videos (that are quite noisy) but they show the feeding sharks. We really enjoyed our visit and now off to the Fish Market (restaurant) for our very own hake !
