Karen

We spent today sea watching at Chapel Point, Lincs. Considering how windy it was, we had a very good day. Highlights were three species of skua, 3 pintailed ducks, a leach's storm petrel and a short eared owl in off the sea. Karen is wrapped up here like she's going to the north pole! and gave these beach huts the once over to see if any were for sale.......

Little Egrets

One of those miserable weekends when the wind blew and it threw it down so sat in a hide and looked at very little!

Whinchat

There were 6 of these on our local patch this morning

Pied Flycatcher

Plenty of these at Spurn today, almost one in every bush!

Roe Deer

This lady was standing at the point at Spurn today

Common Rosefinch

Spurn today. This rosefinch had absolutely gorged itself on the elderberry, turning it's chest purple with juice.

Pied Flycatchers

A fantastic day at Spurn today with common rosefinch, pied flys, redstarts, garden warbler, willow warber, barred warbler, wheatears, winchats and spotted flys. One of those good days !
