Roe Deer at Alkborough

This Roe deer walked straight past us at Alkborough Flats, totally unaware that we were there.



Greater Black Backed Gull

A day on the east coast. 100's of terns passing, a few arctic skuas, a pair of seals, an ice cream on the beach (with a flake) plus these Greater Black Backed Gulls. A very enjoyable day x

Red Kites at Harewood House

A day at Harewood House gave us a good photo opportunity with the red kites. Walked to Emmerdale where a meadow was being cut for hay. Kites came from miles around to search for tasty morsals.

Alkborough

An evening visit to Alkborough produces wood, common and green sandpipers. Good numbers of greenshank, ruff, black tailed godwit and curlew. Also little egrets flitting round the edges. A young roe deer walked out for a drink.
