What a fantastic day out. We started at Wykeham Forest viewpoint for the honey buzzards where we had excellent views of a clapping male. Then onto see a steam train - Merchant Navy Class 35018, next stop Bempton where we were treated to a puffin extravaganza. There were 100's of them everywhere, brilliant. And last stop was our local site for Pyramidal Orchids which now are in full flower. What a grand day out !
