Decided to head off to Kilnsea today and hope for the the buff-breasted sandpiper at Kilnsea Wetlands. We were certainly not disappointed as it showed (although quite distant), the whole time we were there. Really nice to see Shane and his dad and Simon minus Dawn who was at home doing the holiday washing ! Not seen you guys in ages so it was good to catch up.
Thought we would take a look at the new visitors centre........but those pics are for another day. Would be a shame to spoil this lovely bird with such a monstrosity.
