Choco Toucan

Cliff Flycatcher

Club-winged Manakin
Very vocal and never still for a second. A nightmare to see in the dense forest.

Crested Guan

Ecuadorian Trogon

El Oro Parakeets
An endemic 'must see' bird in the Buenaventura Reserve. We were beginning to panic as we hadn't seen one after a couple of hours standing and knew that they had all left the boxes until 4 flew in and landed on the top of a distant tree. BOOM !

Fasciated Wrens - very vocal and numerous everywhere
