Great-grey Shrikes & Siberian Stonechat, Flamborough

and then there were two !

Decided to head to Flamborough today and it was certainly the right decision.  A Siberian Stonechat was on a distant fence and seen from the car park as was a single great grey shrike. A walk around the edge of the gorse field and we heard a shrike call and then another flew in. Fabulous! It was good to catch up with Craig who we haven't seen for some time. He had certainly had a good couple of weeks that's for sure.

  A very distant Siberian Stonechat

100's of these little Goldcrests still around. Infact the hedges were dripping with them.
Stunning little birds, so full of character.
