Citrine Wagtail, Flamborough

This had been a UK bogey bird for us for a couple of years so had to try and see this one at Flamborough. Left home with sunshine and drove straight into torrential rain that showed no signs of easing. Met up with a few other birders around the car park and thought we would give it a try. News filtered that it was still there on the beach, although distant and flighty, so down the hill we went to be met by biting wind and heavy rain coming in straight at us. Immediately we were onto the wagtail so the weather was forgotten for a while. Relatively good views considering. Stayed for about an hour, until we were soaked to the skin really !  Another tick on Karen's UK list !
